On our way we pass picturesque Lake Illiki, historical Boeotia region, we see the fields where the cotton is being grown.
11:30 guided tour of ancient Delphi site to see the navel of the Earth and to learn the history of the place.
13:45 time to rest and taste Greek cuisine in modern town of Delphi.
15:00 we leave Delphi and drive to Meteora. On our way we drive up the mount Giona and Oeta, as the scene of Heracles' death in Greek mythology. The views are breathtaking.

Day 2
Meteora – Athens
09:00 Visiting the Meteora that is a rock formation in central Greece hosting one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries, second in importance only to Mount Athos. Today, there are six functioning monasteries in Meteora that are ‘floating in the air’.
12:30 lunch time in one of the local tavernas
14:00 long drive back to Athens with a quick stop in Thermopylae "hot gates" is a place in Greece where a narrow coastal passage existed in antiquity. Thermopylae is world-famous for the battle that took place there between the Greek forces (notably the Spartans) and the invading Persian forces, commemorated by Simonides in the famous epitaph, "Go tell the Spartans, stranger passing by, That here obedient to their laws we lie."
